Castillo de San Felipe
The Palazzo de San Felipe is located in an ancient defensive building in the north of Tenerife, where the castle was one of the four that defended the city in ancient times. Its construction began in 1599 in an area where there were two weak platforms equipped with small cannons that had already proven effective against the attack of five ships by pirates. The construction of the fort was completed in the early seventeenth century, and since then it has served as a defensive base, and in 1924, it was declared unsuitable for the needs of the army and closed, but today it has become a tourist attraction and a place of shrine for the beauty of the place and its charming view.
