The César Manrique Foundation is headquartered in a stunning house that well-known Spanish artist César Manrique designed for himself upon his return from New York City when he decided to permanently reside on the island of Lanzarote, and is set amidst a former lava flow formed during violent eruptions that rocked the island. In the past, as this building reflects in its designs the charming nature of the island of Lanzarote.
