Chandragiri Fort

Chandragiri Fort is one of the oldest forts in the city of Kasaragod. It was built in the early seventeenth century. It is 46 meters above sea level and occupies an area of about 7 acres. The fort was destroyed many times over the ages, and therefore it is in a state of ruins now, and only some walls remain of it, and this does not diminish its importance at all, as it is visited by thousands of visitors every year, due to its magnificence and because it has a history full of events.
