Chachai Market is an old market in Hua Hin, and it is popular among local and foreign tourists. It was built in 1926 after the royal initiative of King Rama VII on the occasion of his first royal visit to the Klai Kangwon Palace with Queen Rambhai Barney. The market was presented to the king, and the structure of the market was built of reinforced concrete with a roof of 7 curves. Nowadays, it has become a market dedicated to souvenirs, fresh and preserved foods.
