Church of the Apostles

The city of Madaba is full of unique Roman and Byzantine historical monuments, including the ancient Church of the Apostles, which is one of the oldest churches in the city, as the church was founded in 578 AD, but it was discovered in the twentieth century. The church still preserves the archaeological mosaic floor that represents the personification of the sea, represented in the form of a woman emerging from the water among fish and marine animals, in addition to the ancient writings that adorn the wall and floor of the church.
