Cleopatra Beach

Cleopatra Beach is located 5 km northwest of Marsa Matruh and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the city. It is distinguished by its rocky outcrops and tunnels, clear turquoise waters, and bright white sand. The beach contains Queen Cleopatra's bath, which is a rock formation closed from the top and sides, through which seawater waves pass in a breathtaking scene. The beach also embraces some ancient monuments and sculptures, the remains of Queen Cleopatra's palace, and a ground corridor that was used to reach the beach from the palace.
