Clifton, Cape Town

Clifton is a beach and affluent suburb in Cape Town, South Africa. It is also a residential area and home to some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa, with residences perched on cliffs with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Clifton Beach was rated one of the ten best beaches by cable and satellite television in 2003 and 2004 and has achieved Blue Flag status. In 2005 and 2006 it was ranked by Forbes as the eighth of the ten best beaches in the world.
