Cobh Museum

Located a few steps from the train station in the historic Scottish Presbyterian Church building overlooking CorkHarbor, the Cobh Museum boasts an extensive collection of exhibits, photographs, books, artifacts and memorabilia reflecting diverse themes from the city's cultural, social, commercial and maritime history. Along with a number of rare and interesting documents including log books and statements such as lists of prisoners of war that sailed to Australia, the museum also contains historical information about the Presbyterian Church. It is a voluntary museum and is operated on a non-profit basis. The museum is characterized by friendly volunteer staff who guide visitors and provide them with many valuable information about the museum.
