Convento de Santa Isabel de los Reyes

The Monastery of Santa Isabel de los Reyes is a monastery located in the beautiful city of Toledo, which was founded in 1477 by Doña Maria Suarez. It is accessed by passing through the monastery church, which was rebuilt during the reign of Charles V, the Holy Roman Emperor. The monastery has a Gothic-style building and is covered with wonderful wood ceilings. The altar of the church dates back to 1572, and is full of beautiful wonderful carvings.
