Description of the place
Combe Bessett Down is a nature reserve made up of cliffs, meadows, agricultural fields and medieval terraces, in which sheep and cattle are raised, and is also home to many birds, butterflies, lizards, grasshoppers, and the dazzling colors of the bee orchid, Wiltshire county flower and other varieties that bloom In late May and early June.
