Corcovado National Park
Corcovado National Park was established in 1975 AD, with an area of 424 square kilometers, and covers about a third of the Osa Peninsula, and is thus the largest protected park in Costa Rica. National Geographic called it “the most biodiverse place on Earth”, as it enjoys a wide range of rainforests, picturesque trails and beautiful beaches, as well as inhabited by diverse animals such as the endangered giant anteater, eagle, tapir, wildcat and others.
