Cross of The Kings

The Cross of the Kings is an archaeological place where the inhabitants of El Hierro Island gather to practice some of their rituals. It is located in the Camino de la Virgen at the top of the island at an altitude of about 1,400 meters on a large plain. A large communal meal is held for the Bajada community, where families spread tablecloths and share food. The place is of great importance to the indigenous people.
