Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace is located in an evergreen conservatory, in Buen Retiro Park, in Madrid. The palace, which took the shape of the Greek cross, consists entirely of bright colored glass fixed in an iron frame on a brick base, decorated with ceramics, in a design that is the most beautiful and latest of its kind, and the dome of the building rises about 22 meters above ground level. Today, the palace is considered an architectural masterpiece and an important imprint in the world of design, as art galleries and rotating museums that host most of the country's artists are held.
