Departmental Museum of Resistance and Deportation
The Provincial Museum of Resistance and Deportation is a home to history and memory and a center for research and education in the field of citizenship. Created in 1994 by the Provincial Council of Toulouse, it houses a series of permanent and temporary exhibitions that relive the most important events of the period between 1939 and 1945 in the Haut- Garonne: Occupation, Resistance and Liberation, as well as deportation to Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Other exhibitions are organized on issues of citizenship and human rights within and outside the borders of France.
