Description of the place
The Diamond Head State Monument is located on the island of Oahu, and it is a volcanic cone that is part of the 300,000-year-old Koalau volcano chain. Diamond Head is located at an altitude of about 760 feet. The area was used as a military site in the past, but today tourists enjoy Hiking and hiking trails to the top of the volcanic cone.
