Dieng Plateau

The swampy Dieng Plateau was formed as a result of a group of volcanic eruptions, and is located at an altitude of up to 2,000 meters above sea level. Today, it is a distinguished and preferred tourist destination for many locals and foreigners alike, as it is home to a number of ancient Hindu temples that are surrounded by nature. In all directions, there are also sulfur springs and colorful and wondrous lakes.
