Doi Hua Mae Kham
Doi Hua Mai Kam is one of the largest mixed hill villages in Thailand, as it includes the people of the Akha, Lahu, Lisu and Yao tribes, in addition to the Hmong and Tayi people. It is located in the far northwest of Chiang Rai Province, about 30 km west of Tweed Thai. Located on the border with Myanmar, with the arrival of the cool season, giant golden-yellow Mexican sunflowers are in full bloom in this village, and the hills and valleys turn into a beautiful tapestry of gold and green.
