Doner Dome
The rotating dome is located to the southeast of Kayseri Castle, and it is considered one of the oldest Seljuk buildings in the city, as it dates back to 1276. It is decorated with a double-headed eagle, a leopard, a winged lion with a human head, and the tree of life. It is a tomb belonging to Sultan Jahan Shah, and it is called Known as the "revolving dome" because of its twelve-sided surface, geometric shapes, and stones so close together, legend also indicates that the name comes from the fact that the tomb rotates once every two years.
