Dresden Panometer

The Dresden Lighthouse is a prominent tourist attraction in the city. Tourists flock to the lighthouse to see the whole city from above at a height of 27 meters. The number of visitors to the lighthouse was estimated at about 500,000 during the first two years of its construction only, as the lighthouse provides a charming panoramic view of the city as a whole from above. This view is even more magical in the evening hours to see the city fully lit up. Inside the lighthouse, there is a valuable art gallery containing many paintings and drawings dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
