Ducale Square
The Place Ducal is the main square in the town of Charville-Mézières in the Ardennes. It was built in 1606 by Clément Métezeau and is known as the "twin" square of the Place des Vosges in Paris, due to its similar use of layout and symmetry of the checkerboard. This field consists of 23 identical pavilions built of yellow stone, with roofs distinguished by their bluish tiles.
