The Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts was established in 1936 AD, and it includes temporary and permanent exhibitions. It is considered one of the largest art museums in the city, and it contains two buildings located in the historical part of the city of Yekaterinburg. The museum is famous for its unique collection of Kasli cast-iron formations and, of course, the cast-iron pavilion, as well as works by Russian and European artists from the 18th and 20th centuries. The museum also contains a collection of icons, including rare examples of Orthodox icons of the 16th century.
