Description of the place
New Jersey's official and unique memorial to the state's victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. It is located in Liberty State Park in Jersey City at the mouth of the Hudson River across from the World Trade Center site. Created by Jessica Gamrose and Frederick Schwartz, this stunning memorial was erected in the park on Saturday, September 10, 2011, one day before the tenth anniversary of the attacks.
