Ex-Monastero del Carmine

The former Del Carmen Monastery is located in the upper city of Bergamo. It was designed in the first half of the fourteenth century and built in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The building is considered one of the architectural gems in the region. In addition to the rectangular monastery, the building included a library, stables, and places for monks to stay. Today, the building has been restored and is managed by one of the large theater companies in Bergamo, where it is used for musical performances and cultural events.
