Farnham Castle
Farnham Castle sits on top of a hill overlooking the town of the same name. It was founded by the Bishop of Winchester Henry of Blois in 1138 AD. It was considered the favorite residence of bishops in the Middle Ages. It was rebuilt in the late twelfth and early thirteenth centuries. Observation of the buried remains of a former tower, and includes a group of shops and places to eat and drink, and there is a free exhibition about the history of the castle located near the entrance.
