Ferrymead Heritage Park
Ferrymead Heritage Park
This open-air historical museum brings the Edwardian era into the present, with a school, church, jail, general store, picture theatre, and railway station. The park also hosts a series of heritage museums that are owned and operated by individual communities, and are open to the public throughout the week. On Sundays most of these attractions are usually full of tourists coming from different regions. Do not hesitate and visit it with your family and friends and enjoy learning about the wonderful New Zealand heritage. There are plenty of cafes and food stalls in the vicinity as well as houses and wood stoves.
