Five Gates Castle

The Five Doors Castle This historical castle, which is located in the town of Foca near the city of Izmir, near the port in particular, was seized and restored by the Genoese from the Byzantines, which had been built in the eleventh or twelfth century, and the Ottomans, who seized the city of Foca in 1455, with the repair of the castle walls and the addition of towers that still stand tall to this day. The castle, which is one of the must-see historical buildings in Fouga, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2013.
