Fort Aguada

The Portuguese built the fort in 1609 for the purpose of observing movements across the water and the surrounding areas and the construction was finally completed in 1612. Since then, for more than 400 years, this fort is still standing! This sun overlooks the Arabian Sea, and it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region, due to its history full of events, as well as because of the wonderful views it provides, and the beauty of the natural areas that surround it. There are many towers in the fort, many rooms for soldiers, a small prison, an observation platform, and beautiful statues of several historical figures.
