Description of the place
Niha Castle is one of the most prominent tourist and historical landmarks in Lebanon. It is a stone castle consisting of a group of caves carved on the front of a rocky cliff, in a way that makes it appear as if it is suspended between heaven and earth. The castle is distinguished by its strategic location overlooking most of Mount Lebanon, and this is the reason that gave it great military and defensive importance!
