Freedom Plaza
One of the most vibrant locations in Washington, D.C., it is the main arena for important events and the venue for political protests in the capital. This square includes many landmarks such as a large fountain and an equestrian statue of a Polish soldier who saved the life of George Washington and became a general in the army, in addition to the giant stone map of the District of Columbia. This square was established in the year 1980 and named by this name in honor of Martin Luther King, in relation to his famous and iconic speech.
