Gandantegchinlen Monastery
Located in northwest Ulaanbaatar, Gandantigchenlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Its name means "place of bliss". It dates back nearly 200 years. It was built under the auspices of the Buddha and is now the most famous place. In Mongolia, where it includes stunning natural features and a huge statue of Songkapa with a height of 26.5 meters, it also includes the wonderful Guanyin Bodhisattva Hall along the main road, which includes hundreds of Buddha images, and some small Buddha statues, and at present, hundreds of monks live in this monastery majestic.
