Description of the place
Gedalmi Castle has survived as a medieval Byzantine fortress, which is located 12 km west of Kemer. The castle dates back to the ninth century AD, and was characterized by a huge design that includes towers, bastions, forts, storage basements, soldiers' training rooms, and hand-made weapons rooms. Today, due to the passage of time, only some stone ruins remain from the castle.
