German Maritime Museum
The German Maritime Museum is located in Bremerhaven. It was opened on September 5, 1975 by the then President of Germany, Walter Scheel. It is a unique museum located on the deck of an old naval ship dating back to 1380 AD that was found in the Wesser River in 1962, in addition to another group of small ships anchored in the harbor belonging to the museum. The museum building and 8 other ships belonging to it were included in the list. Protected heritage collections.
