Giresun Island

Giresun Island is the only Turkish island located in the Black Sea, only one kilometer from land (that is, it is closest to land), and it can be reached using boats and sailing ships, and it is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in the region, as it hosts approximately 71 distinct plant varieties. It also includes a monastery and the ruins of an ancient wall, in addition to providing stunning views of the sea and the distant horizon.
