Glasgow Necropolis

Located near the famous Glasgow Cathedral, this stunning cemetery is not any ordinary cemetery as all the tombstones are from the Victorian Gothic era, and just as Gothic buildings are very detailed, these tombstones are also full of exquisite details. Almost fifty thousand people were buried in this cemetery, and there are no tombstones for all those buried there. In this cemetery there are also approximately 3,500 statues and small buildings designed by local artists from Glasgow.
