Goa Lawah Temple
The Gua Lawa Hindu temple is one of the holiest and most magnificent places of worship in Bali. It dates back to the eleventh century, when it was built around a cave full of bats by Mpu Kuturan, one of the first priests who laid the foundations of Hinduism on the island. When you reach it, you will see two large banyan trees at its main entrance, and inside it you will find ancient shrines dating back thousands of years.
