Description of the place
Goreme Open Air Museum is one of the most unique places in the region, located 2 km from Goreme, one of the most important villages of Cappadocia, 13 km from Nevsehir and 7 km from Urgup. This museum sheds light on ancient life in the Cappadocia region, dating back to the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, and it is one of the few museums of this kind in the world placed on the UNESCO list due to its cultural and natural heritage.
