Description of the place
Gothenburg Cathedral bears the name of the second largest city in Sweden, and it is one of the most prominent landmarks of the region. It was built in 1815, and it replaced a previous cathedral that had been built in the seventeenth century, and was designed by architect Carl Willhelm Carlberg, who Its design was inspired by neoclassical architecture, and the church hosts many diverse events, concerts and classics.
