Grand Arcade
Grand Arcade is a large shopping mall on St Andrew's Street in Cambridge, England. It is anchored by the John Lewis, (formerly Robert Sayle) store located to the southeast of the site which reopened after a major rebuild on 8 November 2007 prior to the rest of the development opening on 27 March 2008. The existing shopping center is connected to the Lion Yard store, which was The car park was demolished and replaced as part of the master plan, and was renamed on local signage. The Grand Arcade Cycle Park is the first dedicated bike park connected to a shopping center in the United Kingdom. It is set to provide more than 500 parking spaces and a bike shop. Controversially, this was necessitated by the removal of on-street bicycle parking in the center of Cambridge. Here you will find many shops, cafes and restaurants. The full list can be viewed on the Grand Arcade website. It also houses the new Cambridge Magistrates' Court and the Cambridge Library.
