Description of the place
Grand Central Shopping Center is a shopping center located above New Street railway station in Birmingham in England and opened on 24 September 2015. It is currently owned by Hammerson and CPPIB, having been acquired by Hammerson from Birmingham City Council in January 2016 for £335 million pounds sterling. The original center was built in 1971 as part of the rebuilding of Birmingham New Street station below. It was known as the Birmingham Shopping Center before being renamed The Pallasades. It contains many famous stores and is designed in a very modern style.
