Grande Île
Grande Île
Grand Île is an island located in the historic old town of Strasbourg in France. It was named by this name, which means "Big Island" due to the fact that it is surrounded on one side by the main channel of the Ile River and on the other side by the Canal du Fou-Rimpar, and it has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was established in 1988 as a result of the presence of many ancient neighborhoods and alleys in it, which date back to the Middle Ages.
