Description of the place
Granitz hunting lodge is located on the German island of Rügen near the seaside resort of Binz, and with more than 200,000 visitors annually, it is the most popular castle in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region. Built between 1838 and 1846 by order of Prince Wilhelm Malte I, it was once a popular tourist destination for European nobles and dignitaries. Inside the palace, old hunting rifles are displayed, as well as nineteenth-century furniture.
