Green Mosque

The Green Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in the town of Iznik and Turkey as a whole. It derives its name from the design of its high minaret, which contains inscriptions and floral decorations of an Islamic nature that mix shades of green and blue, and are close to turquoise. The decorations of the walls, ceilings, and internal facades of the domes are no less beautiful than the minaret decorations, where visitors also admire them and take memorial photos of them.
