Hastanebaşı Great Mosque

The Hastanebasi Grand Mosque is located in the city center of Samsun, opposite the Fairgrounds, and is the largest mosque in the province. The mosque has a square plan covered by a central dome with corner bends. The dome rests on an octagonal cylinder and has a flat appearance from the outside. It is supported by towers at the four corners. The mosque is one of the most important religious tourist facilities in the city.
