Hat Nopparat Thara National Park

Hat Nuvarat Tara National Park is one of the main national parks in Thailand. It covers a large part of the Krabi coast, including the famous beaches of Ao Nang, Nopparat Tara and Railay. The park also consists of about 80 islands, including Ko Buddha, Ko Gai and the idyllic Phi Phi islands. There are also many well-preserved fossilized shells over a layer of seashells and rocks. These excavations date back millions of years when the area was a large freshwater swamp inhabited by these small creatures that lived and died in millions and are now fossilized.
