Helford

The village of Helford is one of the most popular and attractive tourist destinations in Cornwall, despite its small size. It has played an important role throughout history by being a trading center from which ships and fleets loaded with local goods departed to neighboring states and countries. The village was also exposed to many pirate attacks, which encourages tourists to visit their ruins and the ruins of castles and forts that the residents used to defend themselves against their attacks.
