Hellbrunn Palace
Hellbrunn Palace
In 1613, Archbishop Markus Sittikus commissioned Hellbrunn to build an incredible place. Where the palace, the expansive park, and even the trick-or-treat fountains are a wonderful gem on the outskirts of Salzburg. This was not a place of habitation, but a place of ceremonies and a place of amusement and recreation in the summer. This spirit can be felt now more than 400 years ago: whether you are strolling in the vast garden or taking a tour with the beautiful fountains, you can enjoy the water, grottoes and other tricks that turn on the water. As there is nothing else in the world comparable to its shapes and diversity. One thing is for sure, all guests can look forward to a refreshing and fun experience for young and old. It is one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the city and fascinates you when you see it for the first time.
