Thierry Hermes, a man of German origin, settled with his family in France in 1828, to launch the Hermes brand years later in 1837, and today it has become one of the most famous brands that manufacture bags, shoes, leather accessories, shawls, and more. In a later period, Charles-Emile, son of Thierry Hermès, took over the business in place of his father and chose Rue Faubourg Santonorier in Paris as the location for the main Hermès store, which is still the store to this day. This wonderful branch in Lugano is an extension of this well-established brand.
