Description of the place
The High Street Main Gate is located near the majestic Salisbury Cathedral. It is one of four historic gates surrounding the cathedral. It has origins in the mid-13th century AD. It is adorned with a single statue of a knight on the inner side of the wall and a royal coat of arms on the outer side of it. It should be noted It is closed every night.
