Highclere Castle is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the county of Hampshire in the United Kingdom. It was built in 1679 AD in the Victorian style by order of Sir Robert Sawyer. It was renovated in the 1840s and served during World War I as a hospital for wounded soldiers. This World War II home for evacuees from London has between 250 and 300 rooms.
