Hiiumaa Museum Long House
The main building of the Long House Museum is located in the building where the managers of the woolen mill lived until the mid-20th century (the mill was destroyed in a fire during World War II). The house was popularly called the Long House, and the building, built in the 1960s and over 60 meters long, is still the tallest wooden house in the area. During Soviet times, it housed many government agencies, including the Education Department and the Library.
